Arnold is by AEA Aspen, a very well-bred jumping stallion by Belcam Aalto who is by the imported and then exported Grand Prix stallion Aachen. Aspen’s dam is by the Grand Prix showjumper and Australian champion Silverneer. Aspen therefore carries three Grand Prix jumpers in his pedigree. Arnold’s dam is Loretta who has produced some fabulous horses with AEA Dutch Lorel being the most famous. Loretta bloodlines are highly sought-after by Australian riders.
Arnold is an elegant tall gelding with soft and elastic paces. He shows a very springy trot and a well-balanced, ground-covering canter. Over jumps he shows great style and technique. Arnold has competed successfully in Freshmans and Maiden D Grade showjumping. His kind nature and willingness to learn would make him the ideal mount for an ambitious rider wanting to compete in dressage, showjumping or cross country.
